Blossoming
It's been a while...too long in fact. Apologies for that. My studies sort of took over the last year but now I'm back and bolder than ever! I think this editorial sums up my mood and life in general right now as I close one chapter and enter into an exciting future.

Scanlan & Theodore Spring 2011
I'm a sucker for anything that is grunge-glam, and Scanlon and Theodore's classically cut dresses are über-luxurious in a chic and understated fashion.

Désolé
It seems as though the only thing I do on this blog is apologise for my absence.
But lets face - being in sixth year (Irish exam year) and trying to have time for yourself doesn't exactly go hand in hand.
Anyway, now that I have a bit of time I'm gonna let you all in on some things that have happened recently...
As some Irish readers may know, Oxfam has tee'med up with some of Ireland's incredibly gifted designers in support of Climate Change, one of Oxfam's biggest initiatives. Designers such as Peter O'Brien, Eilis Boyle, Alison Conneely, Una Burke and Joanna Hynes were among the few who helped design these amazing fairtrade tees.
I was lucky enough to be asked to take part in the fab campaign styled by Angela Scanlon and photographed by Johnny Savage. (Incredible name or what?)
Check me out in Eilis Boyle's gorgeous tee...
Here are some of my other favorite shots from the day. Tee's are available in A|wear stores and on awear.com. A big thanks to hairstyling and make-up extraordinaires Maurice Flynn and Kate O'Reilly for beautifying us all!

Are you aware of A|wear?
A|wear is one of those Irish stores we often take for granted. Fresh off the catwalk styles. Check. Boutique style service. Check. Affordable prices points. Check. Celebrity following. Check...well there is now!
Despite being 25 years old A|wear has really come to a forefront in the past few years. I'm lucky to be close to the A|wear girls, even having done work experience there a few years ago. I remember the first time they got noticed in Elle, and being younger probably didn't understand the full potential of it. Now at the grand old age of 18, I've copped on and was over the moon to find out this chic high street store made it into the pages of Vogue. Yes, the fashion bible is letting everyone in on our dirty little secret!
Check out their faux fur gilet at a prudent €50 below, beside the likes of Armani, Kenzo...you know the likes...
Interested in finding out more? Check out their amazing website http://www.awear.com/ and their little video (featuring stylist extraordinaire Angela Scanlon) that will fill you in on all you need to know about their latest collection.
